• Your budgeting data is stored locally on your device.
• Penny Pal does not automatically upload your financial records to a Penny Pal server.
• Optional analytics are used to understand app usage and improve stability and features.

Data stored on your device

Penny Pal stores the following on-device so the app can function:

• Budgets
• Income and expense entries
• Categories and accounts
• Settings and preferences
• Backup files you choose to create

Data shared or transmitted

Analytics

Penny Pal uses Firebase Analytics for anonymous usage insights, such as:

• Screen views
• Feature usage events
• Basic app interaction metrics

Penny Pal is designed not to include your financial amounts or personal budgeting records in analytics events.

Feedback flow

If you send feedback from the app, the information you provide may include:

• Your message
• Device information
• App version

This is used only to support and improve the app.

Purchases

If you use Premium features, Apple processes in-app purchases. Penny Pal does not receive your full payment credentials.

Import and export

• Statement import is processed on-device.
• Backup export is user-initiated and shared only where you choose.

iCloud and device backups

If iCloud Backup is enabled on your device, iOS may include app data in Apple backup services under Apple policies.

Tracking and advertising

Penny Pal does not use third-party advertising SDKs for cross-app tracking.

Data retention

Data remains on your device until you edit, delete, export, or remove it.

Children

Penny Pal is not directed to children under 13.
